Magic is clearly present throughout the film as well, considering also the role of the witch. Now in the movie Brave, Scotland is known for its dense forests, and it is the first film to showcase ‘the Will-o’-the-Wisps’. She later learns that wood is the key to making more doors, and eventually finding Sulley. So Boo eventually figures out how to time travel through the doors herself, (using advanced technology and innovative resources) and goes back in time to find ‘the Will-o’-the-Wisps’ after learning about their magic and power. But she does recall the monsters using doors to travel in and out of the plant, stepping into different worlds with each different door.
